My experience as an Omaha disability attorney

Timothy J. Cuddigan. I have been representing injured clients since becoming an attorney in 1975. For more than 16 years, my practice has focused exclusively on Social Security disability, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and veterans’ benefits claims.

I am a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and have been a member of its Board of Directors since 2004. I am also a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates. I am a member of several other professional organizations including the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys and the American Association for Justice. I am president of the Nebraska Board of Directors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

I have shared my expertise in disability law with other members of my profession at many conferences and seminars. I have given seminars on cross-examining vocational experts and on psychological consultative examinations. I have spoken at disability conferences on the topics of spine disorders and pain; multiple sclerosis, and post polio sequelae.

I received my J.D. from the Creighton University School of Law and my B.A. in history from Creighton University. I am a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and I am admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska; the U.S. Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit; and the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals.
